Hi! My name is Ms. Coleman and I am so excited to be a part of the Edgewood Elementary School's First Grade Team!  More importantly, I am thrilled to be your teacher!  It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us.  I want to know All about you, but first I'm going to tell you a few things about me.

I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama.  I am the daughter of Gwendolyn D. Coleman and Ernest R. Pruitt. I am the youngest of four!  I have 2 older sisters Monica and Tracy, and 1 brother Wilfred.  I love them dearly!  When I graduated from High School, I moved to Montgomery, Alabama to attend Alabama State University..... Go Hornets!  I majored in Elementary Education and couldn't wait to start teaching.  This is my 11th year teaching 1st grade here at Edgewood Elementary.  I love my job dearly!  I am friendly, talented, motivated, versatile, and honest.  I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling, and attending church.  I spend my spare time with myself, my significant other, my family, and very few friends. I am an individual who loves God and know what it takes to be successful!
